Just left Soot Point Bank Carmel. Took my wife for the first time. They were going to charge me for her hold harmless. Nobody charges for hold harmless. I said I wasn’t willing to pay. The manager comes over and says yes I am. I again said no. He then says I must leave and never come back. He never looks at me the entire time Just throws comments over his shoulder. Never been treated that way in any shopping/service experience. So, I’m sure many of you use the SPB range. Your call if you are willing to pay them to not be responsible for anything you may do or have done to you. Been a member for a year. Never paid the charge. Whew, I feel better now

I did not have a good experience there but others love the place but I would never start a thread about them.

What I objected to was a phony surcharge. If we you want to pay it, I agree, pay it and enjoy. I choose not to.

Point Blank recording ID's?

I was just at Point Blank Carmel where I bought some small items; the clerk asked to see ID, I figured it was age verification, but I looked over in time to see the last of DLN being punched in... when questioned, he said it was for rewards and deals... Not sure I like that idea.

I stopped by Shoot Point Blank in Carmel. I looked at a FN 502 and the gentleman at the counter was pleasant. I decided to pickup a Magpul trigger guard and went to the check out. The gentleman at the counter asked for my ID, which is strange for an 8$ piece of plastic. No big deal, I gave him...

I am consistant in calling this out, just like the post of a member bashing Bobcat. What we tell our friends privately is one thing, this is the internet not our private little playground.

You're not alone in your opinions, @Johwar. I'm glad SPB is an option for folks ... it's just definitely not even close to the best option. And what's a gun forum good for if not voicing our opinions on gun stuff??
