I just saw the commercial in which Donnelly tries to run as a Republican. Says he stands against leftists. Supports ICE. Quotes Reagan. Voted for Trump's wall.

Doesn't mention his party affiliation AT ALL.

    Kinda bizarre.

If it's the same commercial he says he "split" with his party on those issues. Might be different one. It shows him splitting wood.

I think this was different. The shots of him were near the statehouse or government center, IIRC.

I haven't seen the one with him splitting wood. Which is itself a minor miracle. Those commercials are on ALL THE F'N TIME.

I'm not sure about desperate. Because every seat is important, there's lots of extra money flowing in that wouldn't usually be here. The Dems can't afford to assume victory in ANY race, so they're doing a ton more this cycle.

I got polled last night by SSI on the Senate race. It must have been an internal poll. There were a couple more questions about Donnelly than Braun so we think it might have been sponsored by his campaign.

I know It won't play with most conservatives and I wonder if it will cause. some #resist voters to stay home.

An effective counter might be to have a commercial showing Claire McCaskill claiming to be more moderate, then link the two together. Oh. And don't forget to show antifa in the background. Every commercial against Joe should make him own a piece of the Democrats' inability to condemn the insanity on the left.

Joe? You watching? Why won't you speak up against your crazy cohorts? Hmmm?

Just saw a commercial with ol Joe barely swinging a NEW axe, while wearing NEW gloves. If he really wanted to look like a "working guy", it should have been a worn axe, with no gloves OR worn gloves, and he should have put some muscle into his swings.

Well. He would have either used. Unless they were just props.

"He would have either used." What does that mean in English?

Allow me. I used to translate for HarleyRider, too.

"Well, he would have had to have used either [the axe or the gloves] for them to have been worn in. Unless they were just props."

Close enough. Actually thought I typed neither not either. iPhones you know. Still, English, by the way, eh?
