NWI Rifle Competition #1 (Sponsored by Goober135)
Time: 12:30PM CST
Target: <<CLASSIFIED>>

Rules:

• Everyone shoots from the 25yd line, from any position.
• Only 5 shots allowed.

Scoring:

• 1 to 10 points can be earned per shot.
• Highest score wins! (out of 50 points)

Prizes:

• 1st -
• 2nd -
• 3rd -
• Last Place - "Da boo-boo prize"

Other Information:

• This competition has TWO different targets. One target for those who use scopes, and one for those with iron sights. There is a twist!
• Shooters using iron sights are allowed to use a spotting scope.
• Any ties are to be settled by a duel...ing target competition! Shooters will take turns firing at the same target. First one to hit the bulls-eye wins! (If both shooters are using the same type of "sight", a coin flip will determine who gets to shoot first. If different, the shooter using iron sights automatically shoots first.)
• Although prizes will not be revealed until after the competition, I assure you that they are worthwhile! (1st prize is worth $10 or more!)

If there happens to be a tie between two shooters that are both using scopes, would anyone be opposed to having the "duel" take place on the 50 yard line?

wtf is a boca burger, that doesn't sound American

They are I think a soy-based "burger patty" but not sure. I have had them before and they are not bad but I do perfer my burger to be meat (beef, chicken, turkey).

In any case I bring them only when we have those members who don't eat meat come. Don't want to see them "starve" out there.

more pressing family events have arose. please mark me and any firearms i said i would bring as tentative. thank you.

So now we are ONLY off as follows:

2 packs of burger buns (16)

Another PSA reminder ....

• Don't forget to mark your gear.
• Have some ID in your pocket and an updated emergency contact card wouldn't hurt. (Good idea to have everytime you leave home, no matter what you are doing.)
• Bring some protectant (WD40, Eezox, etc.) and a towel or two. I will have some towels as well as Eezox but the can is almost empty. When it's gone ... it's gone. The towels will also become soaked quickly if it's raining or drizzling all day. You'll want a dedicated towel to dry your seating area too.
• Just like camping. Bring a personal supply of toilet paper ... you never know. There will be a large group of people.
• Have the means to clean your hands. Baby wipes? D-Lead? etc.
• Layer your clothes and prep for rain. It could be damp and cold one second with the sun breaking out minutes later.
• Eye and Ear protection ... in case it needs mentioning
• Aspirin wouldn't be a bad idea
