sweet never seen that before. Learn something new everyday. And I agree I think enough Americans died for there freedom that they should apologize to us for not fighting for there own freedom.

It's not really clear which group you are referring to, so if my comments aren't germane I apologize in advance. Free blacks did fight for the North in the Civil War, in rather large numbers. Their service was quite commendable, particularly considering that they ran special risks if captured.

    No I didn't. For what?
I'm not sure but I did see a little flareup in the Sanders thread that was locked. I had considered PMing him to implore him to ignore the instigation before he gets shootered but I didn't.

Lesson learned. Friends shouldn't let friends post offended.

For *that* thread? Ah geez!

There's got to be more to it than that.

Stuff may have got deleted that we didn't see. When Paul closed it I didn't see anything all that bad and so I assumed that whatever prompted the lock was likely deleted.

Gotta be. If he was banned just because of what's left, wow...

    This will be INGOs loss.

The constant demands of liberation theologists, Marxists, and whatever flavor of religious "social justice" do gooders that hit the spotlight this week are all based on a false premises. The errant premise that all the rich have obtained their wealth by stealing from and oppressing the weak and poor, and that all white people are racists based on the color of their skin. Neither premise is remotely correct, and those that sell the lies have little basis in reality. It is a narrow experience that allows this error. You cannot judge the entire race by observing a single MM13 event, anymore than a single gangster disciples or a skinhead meeting. Marxists, Socialists and communists all start out by uniting the lower classes under a cause. The fact that the cause is not correct and the answer has no ability to improve conditions does not seem to matter.

To me,it does not matter what he blathers, at the end of the day,he is still a Socialististist.

    I disagree.
If Bernie took two solid steps to the right, then he would be socialist.

Not saying everyone shouldn't vote for him.
And not sayin he isn't correct in everything he believes.

But he is further to the left than most are aware.

I hate these discussions, because nothing comes of it and someone always takes it WAY past the point of decency! Just because a person has a decent life, doesn't mean the credit is due to being stolen and enslaved. Go on with the discussion, but these statements, which I've seen posted several times, is nothing more than drivel.

I know this "Q"......just saying it is time to move on. I am one of the lucky. Here due to servitude of the involuntary kind. Very few of my ancestors survived. I am so very glad the few who did made a life. Those who are here living this life are lucky to be here. It is one of the good things that came of that whole ordeal.
Not trying to start a ruckus as that will happen on it's own.

    Dear Bernie,

I am sincerely sorry that your ancestors had slaves and equally sorry that my g-g-g-granduncle lost his life fighting for the north at Gettysburg.

When do you expect my reparation check to arrive?

...If this is the best the right has on Bernie, they need to work harder.

According to his own website, Bernie Sanders says he buys into Global warming, raising the minimum wage, card-check (ie, eliminating secret-ballot elections for organizing workplaces), and positing that Health Care is a Right (ie, some people have a right to the productive work of others).

This, in addition to the fact he voted for the AW ban.

That's a pretty damning list of facts, pointing to one conclusion: he's a command-and-control statist. If folks are happy to vote for command-and-control statists as long as they "support the right things," they need to own that position. He talks about how trade deals hurt American jobs; people love it (myself included). But Barack Obama campaigned talking about how we "might need to re-think" some aspects of NAFTA...while his people were telling Canada secretly behind the scenes that he didn't really mean it. It takes a special kind of evil to tap into what people are afraid of, then present yourself as a candidate in response to that, and use that momentum to implement an agenda that crushes freedom. And then, fail to deliver on what you originally led people to believe you promised them. That is what Barack Obama did, as far as I can see. That is what most people with the "Organizer" mentality seem to do.

Can we really afford the chance that Bernie's not just another one of them, given the fact that his stated positions are anti-freedom on so many items of great importance?

TB, I'm actually pulling for Sanders to win the dem nomination. It would virtually assure no more Hilary ever, assuming Sanders isn't dumb enough to pic Hillary as running mate.
