    I misunderstood the question. There is a distinction between insulting the government and / or President and doing damage to the country. As a contrived entity, you cannot damage the government. Insulting the government is fair game and protected speech.

    The First Amendment is safe. Planning, plotting or conspiring to overthrow the government is not necessarily covered by First Amendment protections.

    I guess we just have a different understanding of what "no" means. Oddly enough I think it means, well, no. I also think that saying that no means yes whenever it's convenient is bad behavior.
