Do you not see what I'm getting at here though? I mean really! Did it ever occur that the vast majority of the bickering that is rigorously promoted is intended to keep our attention diverted from things that matter? I used to get wrapped up in this same crap. Keeping this stuff at the forefront of your attention is a way to neutralize activists from doing anything useful.

Yeah, you're saying that only the stuff that you care about should be discussed to the exclusion of everything else. I'm telling you that is unreasonable, you do your thing, and others will do theirs. Ain't freedom grand?

I'm sick of both parties, however democrats bring this crap up and then we have to fight them on it. So yes, damn right I hate them more, they start it. Am I disgusted that some republicans vote for it, sure, but not nearly as disgusted as with the party that constantly moves in directions that I dislike. Thats the difference.

Maybe the hatred of republicans is partly motivated by higher expectations? The rhetoric is there when they run for office, then they fall down, sometimes really hard. We don't expect anything good from democrats.

It is, in my opinion, a little silly to claim that there are no substantial differences between the two. I could be wrong.

The biggest difference between the two, in my opinion, is the particular version of the all-powerful police state they want.

When you get one party more or less in control, and they implement some kind of bad law over the screaming vitriol of the other party, and then later on down the road power changes hands, how often does the party who did all the screaming actually revisit and repeal that bad law? Not very often. A recent example would be the Patriot Act. The Democrats screamed about it for years and as soon as they had a big enough majority to repeal it what did they do? They extended it. Then we got NDAA on top of that. Have the Republicans even TRIED to repeal the Hughes Amendment or any of the gun control laws that the Democrats have shoved on us over the years? I can't think of even ONE they've tried to repeal. If we hadn't gotten a sunset provision in the AWB we'd still have it, guaranteed. And we'd have it forever, just like almost every other bad law we get rammed down our throats.

All I can conclude from both parties' refusal to go back and repeal bad law when they have the chance, is that they're both on the same team and they simply fight with each other for our amusement; then, as though right on cue, they suddenly come together in a bipartisan way, give their harumphs, pass more bad law (from which they often exempt themselves) and that's that.

Don't act like anybody is talking about censorship. Post away. By all means, keep up the flow of threads about racist morons from around the country.

Its about as important as celebrity gossip when you look at the direction of our country though. I'm free to point that out, and yes it is grand.

Did anybody say censorship? Just saying that not everyone has to focus on your obsessions. You can just avoid those discussions that aren't about vaccine conspiracies.

Part of the reason Democrats take a beating on this firearms forum is because the majority of all of the recent anti-gun legislation is being crafted and voted for by them.

This is aside from all of the counterproductive social engineering programs and moronic economic policies they have brought us.
:yesway: They just can't help themselves.

Fortunately redundancy was avoided through the exclusion of Republican.

Thanks for putting it so succinctly. With him, and several others, even though we're in agreement on a some issues, I cannot communicate with him on an open forum because he will not allow me my own version of a line item veto. He won't even allow me the very freedom of thought that he demands for himself.

I don't give a s*** about this council woman or any of the other ridiculous articles you constantly post from the blaze.

Why don't you focus on something productive instead of beating a dead horse to death. It was old before you showed up here and it will still be old when you're gone.

Tell us then oh Enlightened One, how to fix this economic death-spiral we as a country are in. Please, won't you grace us unenlightened troglodytes with your wisdom and grace?

I watched the entire video and the councilwoman never mentions if she is a republican or democrat. Obviously something has happened to her some time in her life that causes her to assume that a young person purposely used a black to somehow offend an entire race of people. My assumption is that the teachers, who know the students better than anyone in that room, would not have allowed that to happen if they thought the student intended to use black in an offensive manner. You noticed that when the student asked, "Then what color should I have used?" The councilwoman said, "I don't know but not black". Any other color would have been okay-maybe red, oops-American Indians. How about yellow-oops, Asians. How about brown-oops, half the population of the Earth. Green-yeah green, oops martians.

She needs to let it go.

Political correctness and the habitually offended class will bring this country down. Grunt may be obsessing a bit by pointing out only the stories about democrats but then they do make it easy with their constant race card, and pc outbursts.

Some would say that ignorance in intolerance are bringing the country down. I say it's a lot of both!

"They" aren't on INGO, so why are these storied being posted here? Why can't he take it to where "they" are and he can let them know how he feels? Yeah, anyone is free to post what they want, but what is the intended purpose behind these posts? Is it real news? Does he just want to **** people off and get them to focus on the wrongs of the other side, so they can do something or say something about how they have been made to feel?

Race card? So, could "they" say the other side plays the reverse-race card? Hmmmm.... Maybe it will take another generation to get past this.

I'm trying to do my little part to save the country. Please help us. I'm exposing socialism, marxism and communism, all alive and well and active within the democrat party.

Do you believe in how the country was founded, or do you believe that we should evolve as the wind blows, changing the core principles that the country was founded on.

What I attempt to bring to light are news articles that are suppressed by government controlled media.

On every issue, the left/MSM sets the narrative, giving the issue a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down. Anyone daring to disagree with their consensus will be destroyed. Their bullying is working. More and more Americans are afraid to speak their minds.

Though I'm not sure to what effect these stories have on most of the regulars, here on INGO but to assume playing "Mr. Nice-Guy" and taking one after another on the cheek will some how win friends and influence our political enemies is political folly.

Maybe, just maybe, stories such as the OP's serve as fuel to stand up to the "bullies".
