The feud started when the name of the song was changed from purple Rhino!!!! :p

Full disclosure, my mom bought to give me Prince's first album for my birthday but exchanged it beforehand for a hair band after some wise advice from my older brother.

Hey, there's a perpetual non-disclosure agreement on both sides.

    He apparently left no will.

Who Gets Prince's Money? Jehovah's Witnesses Could Stand To Gain From Singer's Estate

Social & cultural left's collective heads explode simultaneously

Legally, that's a VERY confusing article.

If he had no will, then the church won't get any money directly, unless they were a beneficiary of some sort on an insurance policy or survivor on an account or something. He has at least 1 sibling, no parents, no kids (apparently), so the sibling will get basically everything that was his.

If he had businesses where the church was a co-owner, they would have their equity interest, subject to whatever provisions address the death of an equity owner (assuming there were some provisions like that). That would be a bit odd, though, to have co-owners since he was such a control freak.

I'm thinking the sister is going to be the primary winner in this estate proceeding.

Brace yourselves... This is gonna be bad.
A pop start died, his estate is flux, and his family is squabbling.

I don't think I really need to brace for anything, and its "badness" will only impact my life via random threads on INGO.

Damn, I'm getting crotchety in my advanced age.

    What?

You mean you're heading out to place at eddy bear at the gates of an estate that was owned by a person you never met? Seems cold and heartless.
