I agree with your first sentence. As for your second, if you're talking about the parents I agree as well. For the kid, she's a kid. I wanted to be things I wasn't at that age, I'm sure you did to. Heck at 2-3 years old I wanted to be a dinosaur, my son at one point wanted to be a teenage mutant ninja turtle. My parents played along with me, and I my son. But everyone knew it was play not reality.
