I got in a little range time today. It felt good to get back out again. It was stupidly hot, but any day at the range is a good day. This group was 3 shots at 300 yards. Dumb luck on my part.

3 shots? I can barelly see 2 on the paper, and can't even do that at 25 yards with a pistol.

    Impressive!

Even with some degree of luck, a 300 yard group like that doesn't just happen. I want to know the specs on your rifle and if you ever teach a class, let me know.

I understand this from a farmers perspective I suppose but this hurts my heart as a hunter! A couple more years and those guys would have been super nice!

I'm right there with you, I would have loved to see how they turned out this fall (especially the big guy on the left). Typically we let the big ones walk if we can, and go for the other stuff. But this particular field is being destroyed by them, literally eaten to the ground. And over the years, it honestly seems like these hunts on that property are creating bigger, healthier deer. Every fall, we're seeing monsters being harvested out of that area and super high population levels.

I've wanted to buy a MK12 Mod 0 for a while, but couldn't force myself to write that check. It was my election panic buy. Glass and suppressor will have to wait until after Christmas. PRI upper on a Colt lower, with a Knights Armament stock.
