    10,000 would be a heck of a party! :):

A big venue would be an understatement. Outside for sure.
Last fall the wife and I went to a banquet Cook put on for his employees,
my wife's mother works for Cook Group, in Bloomington.
They had the banquet in the dome at West Baden Springs.
If you have ever been there you know how massive it is and they "only" had around 2,500 in attendance and it was full.

Is Smoking357 still registered, despite becoming a Shooter? Do you think he would come?

I did not make it to the last 1500 but I was going to show up at the INGO booth and introduce myself as Smoking357 and see the reactions.:laugh::laugh:

After the pictures you've put up on here, I think you're the most recognized guy on here! I don't think that would have worked. :D

Seems like every thing that happens, happens in or around the immediate Indy area.

    I'm just sayin' :dunno:

BTW, I can't make it. Too far

I suppose it is much more reasonable to ask the rest of the state to drive to Evansville. But I bet a lot won't be able to come, since it is "too far".

Indy isn't a particularly good venue because it is central to the state and where the staff live. :):

It's a simple population density issue-- there are more people in Indy, therefore it makes sense that there are more INGOers in Indy.

Also, its a location issue. Indy is in the middle of the state.

There have been other INGO events in the northern and southern halves of the State before, they just tend to be smaller.

There are reasons for that which have been pointed out already.

If you don't like that "everything" happens in Indy, you basically have two choices:
    1) Cowboy up and make the drive anyway, or
    2) Get with other southern Indiana members and set up an event of your own.

If you're not willing to do either of those, you have no room to complain when the people who DO set events up, do so in a location that is most convenient for them and the majority of the membership.

    Just sayin'.
