OK Guys & Gals, some "news" as it
larger quantities of 5.56 ammo @ $.50 per round.
^^^ This!$.50 a round is still a but salty. I'll be interested when it's closer to $.30 to $.35 a round.
I am looking for $350 to $400 a 1,000. I think it will be back to that by the end of summer.

I will have to disagree.I'm with you in thought, but I would still take $.50. Why? Well, all it's going to take is another mass-shooting idiot and we'll be back up to $1.00 a round. That punk kid who shot up a school has cost American guns owners a fortune...
I will have to disagree.
$.35 is the norm. I will not pay more than the norm for ammo. When you start paying more than the norm for something, then that becomes the norm.
Are you happy when gas gets down to $3.50? Remember when it was $3.00 and you were happy when it would get down to $2.50? What about when it would get down to $2? The process of "raise it 2 and decrease it 1" only creates a sense of complacency for when the price is higher than it should be, but lower than it was.
Be patient and don't buy until the price is what it should be.
Yes, it does suck for those who are just now getting into the caliber. You're correct, but only if a person already has ammo. I don't want to be without ammo. I just recently bought my first 5.56 rifle.
I remember when it was crazy at $1 per gallon, and normally $.85 or so.Sad to say, I remember when gas was $0.27/Gallon.
I think I'd be willing to pay the $0.50/round if I truly needed it but if I only want to keep up my inventory then a round cost of $0.35-$0.40 would be the goal. Heck, the previous order I placed was for $0.30/round - but that was last year & on sale.
Just found this thread that looks to have started back in Dec. I am interested in 1-3K; under $0.40. Thanks undeRGRound for trying to get this done!
