    Bolt actions are nice and will feed about any 22lr. If you are into target shooting some of the target ammo may not work in a semi auto.With the limited supply of 22lr the bolt action gives you more choices.My vote is for older marlin model 60 for semi auto.

    I'd say you couldn't go wrong with either one. However, if you ever think you would want to customize it, the 10/22 is the way to go. Seems like 10/22's are like ARs and Glocks... almost unlimited add ons and custom parts are available for 'em.

    +1. Can't beat 'em for accessories and out of the box reliability.

    10/22 all the way. Accesories, reputation, reliabilty, accuracy it has it all. Good luck whatever you decide on though.
