"Freedom of the Press" means they are free to publish whatever they want.
They are under no obligation to be fair or to publish both sides of a story.
If you refer to a baby as a newborn, they can report you used the "N" word. If you swat a fly, you can be called a killer.
If an 18 year old attacks your wife with a knife and you hit him with your fist, you can be labeled a child beater.
Expect the media to lie to further their Socialist/Progressive agenda.

Rep. Omar just RT’ed Tom Arnold mocking Rand Paul for being assaulted. That seems...weird. Especially since she claims any criticism of her encourages violence. But actual violence is funny, I guess.

From the point of view of the left, conservative speech is violence and leftist violence is free speech. Don't ask me to explain it.

THERE was a young lady of Niger
Who smiled as she rode on a Tiger;
They came back from the ride
With the lady inside,
And the smile on the face of the Tiger.

Much like the billions mentioned as reparations for 40 acres and a mule.

First of all, mules don't breed. They die. So no one is going to have a mule longer than 20 or 30 years. That ought to knock off $100 billion.

Second, how many 40 acre farms from the 1870s survived through 2018? I suspect not more than a handful or two. Bank failures. Crop failures. Illnesses. The Great Depression and all the little depressions/recessions before that. People moved off the farms to the north for industrial jobs. So, please don't tell me that the 40 acres that an ancestor should have owned would be worth zillions today. 9 chances out of 10, the farm failed in 10 years. 999 chances out of 1000 it failed in 30 and never made it to the 20th century.

And please, let's not forget the other side of this trade in humans: your ancestor's families and warring tribes sold your ancestor...probably to Arab traders...who then transacted with purchasers from Brazil to the USA.

Reparations and the thought of it just chaps my hide.

But all the suffering they endured. We need to give them something. :dunno:
