It is impossible for black people to be racist because they are not in authority.

    OH :poop:!

More accurately, the postmodern inspired formula for the redefinition of racism is power + prejudice = racism. That works for them at the individual level and the systemic level. And I would agree with that definition in terms of systemic racism. For example, a majority race creates laws or policies which establishes a privileged class for the majority race and oppresses the minority race--clearly slavery was that. That is systemic racism, and the power + prejudice = systemic racism certainly works in that case. However, in this case, to them, the justice system that she is a part of was devised by white people, so black people in it can't possibly be systemically racist.

Minorities in America have been generally successful in identifying themselves as a group by skin color (AA's), culture/lifestyle (LGBT), sex (feministas), language/country of origin (Latinos).

Try and find that with white folks. We don't "identify" by color, for sure. You won't find me supporting white reactionaries or communists, I don't identify with non-heteros. I'm against most of the feminist agenda. Religion? Fuggedaboutit. I wouldn't march in support of a white felon because he got arrested by a cop for a felony. That's idiotic.

And, yeah, The Man, has kept a lot of minorities "down". I'll let you in on a secret: The Man doesn't care at all about your color, sexual orientation, religious preference, yada yada yada. The Man cares about The Man. The Man keeps everybody down. That's how come he's The Man.

I'm guessing that the majority of those two groups is probably white. And what about "white groups"? Like Polish, Swedish, German, Italian etc. neighborhoods or even towns here in the various states? They may have been "American" for several generations, but still identify with their cultural heritage. My point is, we, as white people do often identify as members of groups.

Yes, as groups, but not as the White Race. If you asked 100 people to name their most significant identifier, how far down the list do you think "white" would be? I'm certain it's fairly far down the list for most of us. American. Father. Husband. Republican (not me, lol)....it would take a long long way for me to reach "white". Irish heritage, Austrian heritage....yeah...probably ahead of white.

Nah. It’s not because any of that nonsense. I don’t say I’m proud to be white because I don’t spend any time thinking about being white. Being white isn’t a large part of my identity. There isn’t *a* “white” culture per se anyway. There are many regional cultures. Many Southern white people have more in common culturally with a Southern black person, than with northern white people.

Like Alpo said, “whiteness” is way down on the list for me too. I guess I identify as a male, husband, father, American, conservatarian, engineer (not in that order) who happens to be of Irish heritage. I don’t even identify as Irish. I really don’t know much about their culture at all. Heritage beyond maybe great grand parents is irrelevant. I care more about the present and the future than the past. History is good for the lessons it teaches. Who was my great, great, great grandparents doesn’t interest me.

Are you saying there is a single hispanic or asian or black or XXX culture? I wouldn't, so that argument is moot. Why isn't profession, nationality, gender, race, etc. treated the same by every other group? If you really look at it, the answer is actually quite consistent and simple. Sadly, it is about control and power, definitely not virtue.

Was it racism when other law professionals in the same field criticized and were dumbfounded by how the Smollet case was handled?

There were other prosecutor and judge types that were critical. Were they critical because it was a move that had the appearance of some shady quick back door deal? or were they critical because you are "The first African American woman in that role"?

You and your Rainbow Push race hustling backers need to check yourselves with that racial crap.

Spurious accusations of "racism" are the Hail Mary Pass for socialist-statists when it becomes obvious that they will lose. It's so tired!

No, I’m not saying that. But they seem to act like there is just one culture.
