I'm still sort of stumped on why he choose Pence myself. Pense endorsed Cruz and while I'm not a hater if Pence he isn't my favorite either and not sure what he brings to the table for Trump.
However with that said I do hope they win!

Pence is an olive branch to the conservatives and Christians who are having a problem with Trump. Also, Trump needs someone who understands how Congress functions, and who knows how to get things done in the Federal government. With 12 years as a Congressman, Pence can do that. He also projects an image of someone whose character is above reproach, whatever you think of his politics, which is the opposite of career liar and criminal Killary.
