My dog, while not necessarily anti-gun, just doesn't like them very much. If she's around when I start taking them out of the safe, she makes herself scarce.

America’s greatest generation voted for one of the most liberal presidents, FDR, 3 times. “Liberalism”, or at least the personality traits that tend to make one have liberal proclivities, has always been with humans.

No, that was DoggyMama and it was her visor hanging on the chair. She's got a white pillow behind her I think which does make it look like a bra now that you mention it!

And that's not even taking into account the literal pro-Communist/socialist societies, pro-socialist holidays (Labor Day, anyone?) and so on. I have no doubt that after my generation is dead we might actually get the chance to objectively look at the WWII generation, but until then we'll just have to suffer through the endless hero worship.

Where people go wrong, is that they mistake redistribution for being liberal.

To be liberal is to give of yourself and your possessions to meet the needs that you are able, willingly.

Abrogating that duty and giving it over to government is redistribution at the point of the gun.
