Freshwater snails kill approximately 10,000 people each year.

Actually it's not the snails, it's the schistosomiasis parasites they carry. Which is appropriate, since the French eat snails, and many French people live in Paris, which makes them Parisites.

The salary of a congressman is just peanuts compared to the other benefits they get so just because the salary didn't go up means nothing.

Is accuracy a meme requirement now?

If you are trying to criticize a piece of legislation, why wouldn't it be? Is there some special dispensation that states that it is acceptable to try to influence public opinion with inaccurate information if it's in picture form?
