Just so we're clear, this is what happens when you take a nationwide poll and one chain has 6,500 locations, the next largest (Chipotle) has 2,300, and the third on down have 700 or less.
Nationwide polls about "best restaurant" are a waste of time...unless you're trying to mock the majority.
I thunk I mentioned this before, but if not, here goes: Years ago in one of the Reader's Digest "Life in these United States" columns someone wrote that they were in line at Taco Bell when they realized the family next to them in line were Mexican nationals. She commented to them that this Taco Bell must not seem very authentic to them. The family replied No, it is very authentic, it is exactly like the Taco Bell in Mexico City.
