Hummel Park, Plainfield just after 0800. It has some kind of injury to it's eye?? The pic doesn't really due it justice, it was gnarly looking. I hit it on my 3rd or 4th cast and thought, Hot Dang! This is gonna be fun! Uh, no. Not another bite.

Drove the family up to Cades Cove this evening. Seen a coyote, a buck in felt and 2 different sows. One had 3 cubs with her and the one crossing the road had 2 cubs

We recently enjoyed a trip out to Port Clinton, OH. Right on Lake Erie. What a beautiful community.
My lady hooked several bass but lost them. Tough son of a guns.
She was able to pull this sheep head though.

Took these on a bear hunt in MT two weeks ago with my 15 year old. Such a beautiful area.

Just got back from visiting Glacier National Park, had some nice little day hikes.

The secret location. Hammock, shade, a rock dam makes a nice 3.5' deep area to cool off in. And amazing no mosquitos or deer flies if you stay right there. Must be a opened area big enough they don't like it.

Just wrapping up our first trip to Hocking Hills State Park in Southern Ohio. Other than the heat, it's been great. We hiked every day. Most of the trails are fairly short, but many of them are fairly rugged. The scenery and the geology of the place is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this sort of thing.
