Just went thru that 4 months ago. Chiropractor adjusted my hip and sciatica nerve 3xs within 2 weeks. Stretches and more water than beer and I'm back to normal(ish).

I work construction and sometime in February or March , best I can recall is I pulled something trying to get out of the mud. Putting on socks and pants was a painful chore. Like you, I could walk fine, but any side to side movement, would almost bring me to my knees and tears. Told the chiropractor about the issue, and he did his thing.
