Bacon almost got away from me. At least I didn't set off the smoke alarm. :):
    Christmas morning, 2020, I did.
Making brown sugar glazed porkchops for breakfast.

One smoke detector went off, alarm company called and we told them everything was ok.

Didn't think anything of it as we have 2 smoke detectors that are monitored.

Fiance asked why they were calling her, told her to answer it. They said because we have 2 we get 2 calls and if we didnt answer both, the fire department was called and on the way.

7am on the dot you can hear the sirens and horns. 2 trucks and an suv arrive and my dumbass is out on the front porch explaining the whole situation.

Man are their trucks side flood lights bright. Feel like I had an xray through the brick wall.

They didn't appear to be to happy being there at 7am on Christmas day however I am sure they were happy not to have to put a fire out too.

Ours aren't monitored but they make a racket. Just the smell was enough to wake Susan up this morning. :(

Been popping on an off hitting the market place for my youngest grandson a .22 rifle .
The oldest one got a golden boy , the middle one got a Ruger 10-22 & now it’s time for the littlest one to get one.
When they hit 9yrs old I buy them each one , so it’s that time again & would rather help a INGO member out then a box store.
    So the search continues !
We've been buying a single shot 22 for the grandkids when the turn 7. I feel it's the best way to learn the fundamentals as safely as possible under adult supervision of course!
