I trimmed all the bushes around the house this morning. I sprayed round up and some brush killer on the garden fence and around the lawn edges.

Some pre-prep fries from the freezer.

I had the grille ready when Wife woke from her tiny morning sleep.
Just waiting to see what she could stomach today.

I was already hoping to have burgers. Wife bought these beautiful sourdough buns on Sunday shop. Put those on the grille as well.
She fried the fries.

Never allow an open freezer to go to waste!

Mining for burgers, I found a couple of quart bags of pinto beans, dated last Feb.
Have a pound of bacon, month out from pumpkin date.
That's some "short" bacon; needs et!

I'm spending the rest of my pre-nap time whittling onions, peppers, garlic, "short" cherry tomatoes and various spices, all to enhance a slow simmer toward an epic batch of refried beans.
