Went out in the grass as far as my air compressor hose would reach and blew out all I could from the fan shroud and motor.

Wow! Probably could have filled a coffee can with the lint. This fan really needed this service.

Drew a half tub of detergent in my scrub sink and letting the grille and all soak a while.
Motor looks fine, now. Nothing to oil, sealed bearings, still tight, no thrust slop.

This baby doll is gonna do great when she first gets another jolt of bottled lightning!

how long is the rehab period getting you back on your feet?

I know my dad took about a month for his knee
I was up on my feet, in great pain, same afternoon as the surgery. And that was with a morphine drip.

Physical therapy began the next day and continued for six months.
The original pain that made me accept to do this to myself was gone right away, though. Only the stress of what had to happen to get all that in place was left.

Took about a month to be able to stand and get to the toiddy without a crutch or cane.
Kept both close by for about a year.

All in all, it was well worth all the recovery time!

    Addendum:
I was in the hospital for five days.
One thing I remember through the early fog was the nurse came in to change out my bags of IV stuff and commented that I must be doing great! Most people go through this morphine like butterscotch pudding.
I could punch the button to get more every so often.
    I had not used much.
I liked butterscoth, but something about that expression ruined it for me.
