OK, so you're not trying to hoard bacon grease for the next gravy event like I am.

I used a sided cookie sheet, but I put a cookie cooler grid on the bottom, then the bacon on the grid so any grease drips through.

I also used a lower temp, but you've gotten me to think again.

I know the oven instead of skillet is very popular, almost a Stairway To Bacon Heaven for many.

I could very easily pour off the bacon grease from the parchment paper, but I accumulate enough throughout the week that I don't usually save it when I make the BLTs. What I like about the parchment paper is there is no cleanup. Paper and grease into the trash and the pan is still clean.

Went in to check on the Shark and it had stopped. Came back and looked at my phone and it said that its roller brush was clogged. When I looked it had a single "thread" or fiber wrapped around it. I think it may have come from the packing tape that was on the coffee table box or something. Cleared it and sent it back on its merry way.

A few days ago was talking about the rifles I purchased. Well decided to painted one, just the tupperware stock. Needed to make them look different having more than 1 all in different calibers. Left is 5.56 right is 350 legend. Also have 308,6.5 and 450. May do them also. 5ac1f8ec-dcbd-4f62-85d3-d19ac6c0ec2f.jpg

If you use enough parchment paper to cover the sheet pan plus a little bit and get inventive and put that cooling rack on tha paper, I find that the bacon grease pours off the paper at a corner and into my b/g jar with nary a drip. Hardly lose any at all.

Howdy patience. Yep, this! ^^^ I only discovered (started using) parchment paper in the last year or two. I use it whenever I can. Even used it on my pizza pan for my breakfast pizza this morning. Got Susan to start using it for her peanut brittle this year too. What a work/time saver!
