City came out to refill the water bag they used for the new maple tree. It drips to give the newly transplanted baby tree a better chance. Bag's ugly with a capital UHG!

Mulched it some. I'll want more.

Good morning everyone. Nothing much planned next few days except take advantage of some pleasant weather before the heat dome sets in.

Been out 4 times so far to chase about 40 geese from the yard. It appears they spent part of the night here judging by the amount of “bodily waste” present that wasn’t there yesterday. We need to revoke their US visa and send them all back to Canada.

Picked up some sticks that came down in the wind yesterday. My burn pile is growing. After I'm done with the laundry and bed-making I think I'll pull the trailer up by the pile and see if I can get all that stuff burned. It should be dry enough by now I think.

After picking up sticks before mowing earlier yesterday we spent part of last evening picking up more. Enough so I should burn the pile again today if the wind stays light.

Also been needing to spray but strong winds lately made that a no-go. Maybe today

Breakfast was light; lunch won't be.

Got spoiled having a small mountain of pulled pork BBQ for Saturday lunch.
My favorite mobile BBQ crew weren't there this morning.
Better place to be than a small town Farmer's Market, I suppose.
