Wife, "I have to run something by you."

    Me: "STOP!! Walk it, please."

Few seconds of banter and we had a fire going.

That was a couple of hours ago now so I missed the move.

I'm trying to figure out who actually lives slightly behind us. It was a younger guy and his wife/girlfriend(?), and I guess I assumed they bought the place. They moved out I guess, but now I'm seeing a mix of people.

At first I saw 2 younger heavy set guys. Then I saw them plus a kid. Then I saw a heavy set woman in the mix, but only once or twice. Haven't seen anyone in the past week or so until just now. Now it's one of the heavy guys on the riding mower, but there's a similarly aged black guy running the push mower. Other guy and woman and kid nowhere in sight.

    From where?
Only corn on the cob I found at the Farmer's Market was hauled up from Alabama.

BTDT, and still waiting for good corn.
The corn I got from Kroger this past weekend wasn't bad, but the corn I got at Fresh Thyme a couple weeks ago was surprisingly good. I think it was from Florida. But yeah, I'm looking forward to Indiana grown!

    Sounds great.
All the southern states have great sun and most have some corn.

My B8tchyness stems from the fact that most of the time, when it reaches Indiana markets (fish from the Gulf is the same, BTW), it has often been a week since it was picked.

    I don't call that fresh.
    I'm spoiled.
Some things last for months (citrus) but not corn.
