Good, glad to hear that!
SOS to me will always be chipped beef and gravy on toast.Made an SOS thing for dinner. I know some have fancy names for stuff to eat, but I was raised rough. SOS is delicious!
Thick sliced toast (the shingle), mashed potatoes, last of the pork BBQ, some pico de gallo I just rattled together. Some crumbly cheese.
Enough for all three of us.
Wife is in Carmel about now, picking up med things.
Sounds easy, right, but she has some early AM shipments from med labs places packed in dry ice. Those are not light.
Lord only knows what is inside.
That would qualify.SOS to me will always be chipped beef and gravy on toast.
I'm just sayin'... your version sounds a lot fancier than chipped beef and gravy on toast. I'd almost call yours a BBQ pork Manhattan. That would qualify.
Basically, once you get a shingle, anything goes.
Raised rough, not given fancy New York names for what it took getting by.
But, evening meal is more a pleasure to me than just getting by.
yup I think his is "Fancy"I'm just sayin'... your version sounds a lot fancier than chipped beef and gravy on toast. I'd almost call yours a BBQ pork Manhattan.
Just went to check. I could not believe my eyes.
See, I knew you fancy folk would have New York names for anything good to eat, if we let you.I'm just sayin'... your version sounds a lot fancier than chipped beef and gravy on toast. I'd almost call yours a BBQ pork Manhattan.
SOS = chipped beef, creamy sauce/gravy, toast. The end.
