It says I am to appear for jury duty on July 11, but to call the evening of July 10 to see if it is still on.

I think that's the way they do it down here now too. Used to have to call every night, Sunday thru Wednesday. If you weren't picked by Wednesday then you were off the hook.

I am cleaning a little bit. I found a BCM upper with a Surefire suppressor muzzle device already on it. I have no memory of that at all.

They planted this little red maple stick (2in at waste level - Gandolf would smirk!) in the city easement and attached a drip bag to the install.

All I'm supposed to do is make sure it stays full and it takes care of itself after that.

Maybe. We'll see.

It stayed full for a month while we were getting all that rain.
But I filled it two days ago and again yesterday.
So it seems that when the need is there it drips, otherwise it holds.

Kind of cool. Especially if it keeps working.
I might sneak in some Miracle Gro.
