Mowed again...

first time I think I've ever mowed twice back to back days. It looks better, but there's still a lot of cut grass out there

I've done it.
Usually my own fault for letting it go too long.
Can't be helped sometimes.
The neighbors just look at my quality straw cowboy hat and shake their heads, again.

couldn't help it, with all the rain we were getting for a while there I couldn't mow because it was too wet and then it would rain again.

USPS kills me... I shipped a package to Brownsburg.

Went from Ft Wayne -> Indy and now it's in Cincinnati!?!?!?!?

Went out for a fancy lunch with one of my people. I have worked with her over 34 years.
I had the reuben, curly fries and chocolate pecan pie.

Just got back from another (same) community yard sale.

You guys are going to think I am a complete wackjob, but I brought home another dead motor to look into.

I got a book and a few CDs, too. I have so many CDs most of you would puke (storage, even access is an issue), but I know what I have and something cool, I grab.

Same old guy I got the Baldor from. I asked how many more old motors does he have to haul off.
You don't remember me?

"Yeah, you bought Jeff's shotgun."
Nothing gunny this trip.

He also had some of what looked like almost NIB pipe taps and two dies, one still in creosote, all with original riveted cardboard boxes. All of them, sharp enough you need to handle them carefully.

I can not pass up tools at a bargain.

My wife has worked for UPS for 23yrs.

Old motor is a Doerr, beauty, heavy, cast bottom mount; said it came form a Craftsman saw. 1/2HP, but with a very long shaft. I might keep this one.
It didn't smell burned. That smell never goes away. $2, "haul it to the dump for me, get $20."

I kind of like his game.

Got wood for another planter. Some steaks for Sunday dinner. Stopped at CVS for som tums. Seen something that made me smile. Lady walked in with two children and went straight up to the counter. She waited until the cashier was available and presented her son . Apparently the young lad took some candy when they had just been in there and his mom marched his lil azz back in to deal with the consequences.
