looking for neuropathy, real big issue if you lean towards diabetes
    Yep.
I've been borderline Type II for 25 yrs at least.
Nothing I do changes that mark on their scale.

My wife actually has a degree of neuropathy from a bad kidney thing last year, led to sepsis and we almost lost her.

They do more than just poke at her feet to assess progression. They tickle her all over and (being middle sis with five brothers) she HATES being tickled!

We have a new tree, placed in the city easement by the city.

Not sure where they had the things shipped in from. Everything here is as green as May can make it, but this baby tree does not even have fully opened leaves yet.

It's about 1&1/2" at waist level, a little over 8ft tall. Wife says they planted a green Q-tip out there.
I thought it was a silver maple at first, color of the trunk, but closer look is a complete covering of gray/silvery lichen.

More hope, the immature leaves are more uniform than silvers.
More like a Canadian flag, whereas silvers usually have one lobe elongated or fat and often another lobe with a split.
These leaves are all "maple" looking.

I was really hoping for a bigger tree, regardless!

Back from Kroger. Still no word from the plumber. I wish they could've given me a "window" at least, instead of "sometime today". I still need to go to Aldi and to Walmart.
