Bowing out for a bit folks.
Wife is on vacation, we've had a wonderful (more productive than I planned) day, but we were planning for a firepit evening with food.
Weather turned and so I am cooking inside.
I bought some thin sliced flank steaks (from the local Mexican grocery, now sporting an in house butcher) to wind on handspits to flame tonight, but we're doing it all inside and I am the chef.
It's her turn to sit and be served.
Daughter is already chopping the veggies for a southwest stirfry, including those fabulous bloody fresh flanks.
I just got the rice going.
I'll check in and out until sleep.

Thunder is getting more frequent, but it looks like the main storms will miss us to the north. We might get a little bit, but it won't be much.

I think the plumber was a little freaked out by the amount of ammo that he saw today. I had the cans in the closet where the leak was moved out, but he needed me to turn off the breaker to the well pump, so I had to open another closet and move another couple rows of ammo cans to get to the breaker panel.
He asked, "Wow, is that all ammo? Was it on sale and you decided you needed to stock up?"
