One of my good 2A neighbors decided to sell his home for a larger one.
His asking price was 379K. Yesterday was the open house with 27 separate visitors. There was a bidding war and they sold for 420K !

When does this insanity stop? I don't get it.

Agreed especially with crazy high interest rates.
The county uses these numbers to raise property taxes.
When I asked how the last increase could be justified, they called it "trending"

I think there's a lot of people that have caught on to the scheme and intentionally create a nuisance and trash the neighborhood to keep the taxes low and the gentry disinterested in moving in.
