Something in between the two as far as profile, rubberized, with a smidgen more LOP would be perfect, IMHO.

Have you ever felt the hogue? I like those too but I wish the finger grooves were smaller. I haven’t tried one in about 15 years though

No, but I bought Hogue grips for my P226 and instantly realized it was a mistake. They were huge. Way too big.

The P226/P229 has a large frame to begin with. Even with the E2 grips, it's a handful.
