Both Mexican places by us were closed, so we went to Metro Diner. I had Charleston Shrimp and Grits. Had fried cheese-infused grit cake with shrimp, andouille sausage, bacon, peppers and onions in some kind of a cream sauce. It was pretty good.

Yesterday was a tragedy and I do mean tragedy. I have to connect up 500ft of garden hose to spray the weeds here. Connect & disconnect several times to clear landscaping, trees and whatnot. It's a real logistics and physical exercise and I very much dread doing it. Well I was into it for a while and noted that it was about time to refill the chemical due to the 1000's of times I done it before and knowing how long it should last. Tank was still full on the hose end sprayer. I had the thing set wrong the whole time. I turned the water off, went inside and never said a word about it.

It was actually pretty good, except the andouille sausage was a bit tough and chewy. I just wanted to try it. Probably not something I'll order again though.

Boiling my brats in beer and sauteeing my peppers and onions. I'll be able to just brown them up in a skillet for lunch tomorrow.
