Sometimes I envy you guys that live in between several small towns. Everywhere I go here, it's still basically Indy.

local factory up here used to hire almost 2x the amount of people they needed because at least half would quit after the first day of orientation. I don't think they do anymore, but they did for a small period of time

When I went through hiring. 1100 tested, 320 something passed. 11 showed up to final interview, we all got hired the same day.

I don't either. I just got a kick out of Expats post, actually I haven't even been back to the thread.

I think it is more to do with the whiz quiz that was after the interview.

Well that's true, but I can drive 10-15 miles and still be in Indy.

Boss told me we had 40 different people working last year. Not to bad for a 14 man crew.

Got most of my christmas lights down finally.

Well, there were 3 of us. So we should have had it done.
But the 'tree of lights', we disconnect the string at the bottom, then velcro 3 of them together to the pole, and repeat for the 24 lights.
That much bending would have finished us off.
The the 1500 feet or so of extension cords are up, and the rest of the lights.
