Apparently making fun of her baldness is not OK but her having an affair with her SONS rapper friend of OK... Also note how Smith was laughing too untill he looked at Jada. So this is what represents America today - a black man assaulting another black man on camera and in front of witnesses and not only is he not charged with a crime but he goes on to accept an award a few minutes later as if nothing happened!

100% nailed it. Will Smith's "wife" is pulling the leash on his dog collar and making him look like a cuck fool. This is a topper. This should've been the biggest event in the culmination of his acting career to finally win an academy award for best actor and it get's overshadowed by this whatever you want to call it.

I don't believe it was staged. I truly believe his "wife" is driving him mad. I just don't see Smith going along with a setup on the biggest night of his life just so the Acadamy can get publicity for future higher ratings.

it looked to me like Chris Rock was shaken. He played it cool. Didn’t rub. Went on with the show. But for several seconds he looked like he was trying to process what just happened. If it was staged, he’s a better actor than Will Smith. I think Smith did it because he knew he could.
