Been listening to that today. Reasonable opinions.

They need PID of a threat.
You have a guy on a roof with a rifle. The guy was seen by local police and they backed off, for whatever reason.

When someone has a rifle pointed at a person do you wait till they actually shoot or do you eliminate the threat? Those few seconds of waiting almost killed Trump and did kill one other.

It's too fishy, something isn;t right but IMO, don't wait, eliminate.

    you posted it.

    "
Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.

Then, Crooks drove his Hyundai Sonata about an hour north, joining thousands of people from around the region who flocked to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He parked the car outside the rally, with an improvised explosive device hidden in the trunk that was wired to a transmitter he carried, the official said. Then, investigators believe, he used his newly-bought ladder to scale a nearby building, and opened fire on the former president."

No way a 5ft ladder got him on that roof(unless it was the telescoping type).
If the roof was just over 9 ft and that young man of 20 stood on top of that 5 ft ladder and set his rifle down on the roof. It's a short hop for him to be on the roof himself.

Patriots supporting their fallen and critically injured fellow Patriots and their families. Trump has seen that they will be taken care of and good on Musk for stepping up big time. He's all in now for Trump and his supporters.
I'm getting quite the chuckle out of the screeching calls from the left for citizens United to be overturned. The hypocrisy is thick.

Maybe.. just maybe.. when was the last assassination attempt on an EX- Pres that got this far?

Reagan was early 80s.. and he was the ACTIVE president.

So.. I'm not saying this is true, or the reason, but maybe, maybe that "success breeds contempt".
When seconds matter, but your mind is still trying to work out it's OODA loop..
I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a bit of... am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Is that another officer from a different agency? Is that a rifle or something else? If I shoot an innocent bystander, that would look bad?
    etc
    etc
    etc
