Easy. They are wrestling with the deep state in a show of force, with the goal of obtaining more power. I doubt it works out well for them. The intelligence part of the deep state does not play and real power does not care about what party you are.

According to the Oversight Committee, here are some key findings:
1. Nine days after an assassination attempt on President Donald Trump’s life, the director of the U.S. Secret Service DOES NOT have a comprehensive timeline of events.
2. She HAS NOT visited the site in Butler, PA.
3. The roof the shooter used was OUTSIDE the perimeter the Secret Service was monitoring.
4. She thinks that the assassination attempt was “the most significant operational failure at the Secret Service in decades,” yet she still believes she is the best person to lead the Secret Service.
5. She was more forthcoming with her TV interview appearances than our hearing and even had her opening statement “leaked” to journalists hours before our committee received a copy.

7. She ADMITS to multiple lapses in security under her leadership of the law enforcement agency.

Surely you saw the videos. The shot was dead on if Trump hadn't turned his head at the very instant. Trump is alive, not because of poor aim. But of blind luck, which some like to attribute to divine intervention.
Like I say. If you don't want people to think you're hiding something, don't act like you're hiding something. People can tell when you're being transparent. And then they tend to believe you. Apparently the entire administration has something to hide.
More than one thing it seems.
I don't know. To me she gives off serious Karen vibes. Maybe it is just the toilet bowel earings throwing me off?
