With all of this historic guns and gear and it being on a historic day is someone going to prepare a same history lecture to help celebrate?

How many are going to dress in WWII uniforms?

Anyone able to dress up like General Patton? Can we get a private from Shelbyville there to slap? :)

Wow, That is a bit of a haul, especially with a car loaded with expensive weapons. I will have to see closer to the date.

It's not that Far, take I-70 to the US 246 Exit (1st TH Exit) and then go about 3 miles south and you are almost there. At 70 MPH you should be able to make it in under an hour from the West side of Indy. Hope you can make it

I'll try to make it with a M44, and a lend-lease Enfield (by Savage). I guess the MK VI Webly could qualify, it's actually WW1 but I think they were used in WW2 also.

    Southeast of disorder.

I've got a couple historical items that I'll bring as well. An Ike jacket, a ration book, some German badges, stuff like that.

Don't say it too loud, but this event might even be educational.:D

It's official! The WWII shoot will take place on Saturday, June 6th at the Riley Conservation Club. We will have the range from 0800 untill dark or we run out of ammo, with shooting to begin at 1000. There will also be a pitch-in wenier roast style lunch at the range. There is a small fee for the rental of the range which should run about $10 a person.

A special thanks to obijohn for answering my questions and helping to steer this thing in the right direction.

Also if you know a WWII vet that likes to shoot please bring them. We lose more and more of these great Americans every day, and this will be a good chance to share there experiences.

RSVP here and I will add you to the attendees list!

    Attending:

    kedie - with 2 M1's and a Mauser
    whiskeytangofoxtrot - with 2 M1's and an '03A3
    Clay - M44, M91/30, & 1911
    bft131
    obijohn as RSO

    mike8170 - a bunch of sweet stuff
    VN Vet - German pistols
    Charles Church - M1, Mauser, 1911, M44

Are INGO Gawkers welcome ? I really do not have anything that qualifies to shoot but if available would like to stop by for a look see.
