That's pretty sweet. I pay $20 for a transfer. I have been looking at a CZ Compact in .40. I got out of .40 about a year and a half ago but am now reconsidering. I think the all steel Compact should handle it pretty well. Have also been eyeing a 40B. I have had a couple previously but that was before I discovered Cajun goodness.

Hey! That's not what you told me.

FYI, ZX Guns in Fort Wayne only charges 20.00 for transfer. I'm assuming the Goshen store is the same. According to a radio ad I heard, they also price match.

Thanks, I had to preserve the moment before I began to work her like a horse. She came in to my life on Thu., already put 500 rounds through her, and dry fired her til we were both tired! I'm going to call her "The Mistress" LOL.

You're a lucky man. Did you buy it direct from CGW?

Yes, I agree, David is a great guy. I have done quite a bit of business with him.

I like the fact that he goes above and beyond what would be expected. When I ordered parts for my compact, he called the same afternoon to be sure I was ordering the right parts for a gun with a FPB. A lot of places would simply fulfill whatever is on the order sheet and let me figure out if it was the correct part later on. It turns out that I had ordered the correct parts, but I sure appreciate his effort to make sure I got what I needed.

To many good reviews on CGW and seems to be very reasonable in pricing. That is why people are willing to wait the six or so weeks. Great to know there are some still out there providing top notch service at reasonable prices. I am sure he will soon get some of my money! LOL.psyko
