NWI INGO General Thread #27 - Fresh Pink Air On US-30 smells like...

Down here in FORMERLY sunny Lowellabama we were seeing thunder and lighting to our north. Very very frighting.

But about 10pm we got our very own heavy rain, with our own light show in the sky. The big, but wimpy dog, is suitably drugged to survive the night. Lost Al Gore's inter webs for about an hour. But even that has been restored.

At least the grass is watered now

repeter comes downstairs and asks me if all my car windows are closed.

OF COURSE they are.
And a minute later, doubt starts to creep into my head.
Can't see the car sunroof in the rain, so I had to go out there to make sure it's flush with the roof.

It was.
Of course the windows were shut.
But.. that dang doubt was in my head.

Got pretty wet.

I'm working midnights so I was asleep for most of the storm but I got up early enough to stand out on the deck under the eave to smoke and watch the lightning show before I had to start getting ready to go

Glad for the cool off it is mowing day after all. So my kids mower took a crap…. We’re going to attempt to LIMP through the rest of this season with some electric mowers…….. and hopefully we find a nice gas one at a deep discount at the end of the season. If any of you guys frequent Home Depot or Lowe’s any of the big stores keep your eyes peeled for me.

Push probably about all the budget will allow right now but the good ones get pricey. the girls are hoping to expand next year so I’m thinking a GOOD push mower and a mediocre rider.

Looks good. Checked out the menu and the big new Yorker looks delicious. Similar to Shapiros deli in indy

Timer replaced on the washing machine. I guess 31 years on it was pretty good.

Tomorrow I change the gasket on the fridge.


Bad week for the wallet though.
