Found it ... be careful out there.

Some empty ethanol containers went boom in a three train smash.

Comms were all over Porter County dispatch both EMS and PD as well as the county fire dispatch.

I heard about some fine young Democrats robbing the place and stealing (60?) firearms on the news a couple months ago.

So how bad is Gary south of 80/94 and West of I-65? I need to go to Lake Station and I don't want to use the interstate... I'm a chicken.

I was thinking of taking ridge to Hobart then heading north once I'm past 65.

As per usual...this limey white boy thinks he's going to be shot and killed to death by a gangsta...

I am far too white and nerdy to live here.

Passing thru to lake station... I think I'll take 61st Ave instead to Hobart then head north.

Just take 61st Ave it will end at RT 51. Take that north and you will have to make some right and left turns to stay on RT 51. That will take you strait to Lake Station. Ridge road is not that bad. I go through there mini times a weak. I do try not to go through it at night. Always leave space at stop lights so you can leave if you have to.
