You'll have to run some mags through it this weekend. After some more breaking in, it's even better than last time you shot it.
i wanted a g30 for a very long time and i found my g30 gen3 used for under $400 so i couldn't pass on it. i have no idea how many rounds the original owner put through it but since my first shot it's been smooth and flawless. i've only put 350 rounds through it so far in the last month and a half but i am really happy with it. as soon as i bought it i switched out my g19 for this as my ccw. sad (i guess) to say i am going back to g19 as my ccw tho for 3 reasons:
    1. ammo cost. major contributing factor. i should be super proficient with my ccw which means lots of practice, and on a budget the .45 acp is just not affordable enough for me. i can shoot almost twice as much in 9mm
    2. not quite as comfortable. the frame is just a bit thicker than a g19 and so not as ergonomic.
    3. mags hold 5 less rounds. never been in a shootout (thanking the lord!) but if i were i'm sure my adrenaline would be through the roof and i hope to rely on muscle memory but that's not guaranteed so i'd like to have as many rounds as possible at my disposal and since i don't (generally) carry an extra mag the g19 makes more sense.

also there're the fact that i've had the g19 8 years and carried/shot so much it's practically an extension of my hand and i trust my life to it. thousands of rounds and no issues. this reality did bum me out a little tho because i really really like that g30 and the .45 has some major stopping power.

.45 ammo cost does blow, as does the lower capacity. I prefer the grip on the g30 to the 19. When I first got my 19 it felt almost too small for my hand, and getting my trigger finger inside the trigger guard quickly took some getting used to. The blockier/larger gen 3 g30 grip just feels right to me for a compact gun, so it's my top choice for cc. If I'm not bothering to conceal, I prefer my FN over everything else right now.

Shooting what you practice with the most and shoot the best is always a good call, and of course, JFC in the first place and you're ahead of the game.

I'll take care of his glock 30 for him. Since you don't like those.

:nono: we will use that during one of the Hammond Gun Buy Backs so we can buy food for the meet & shoots. :)

It's so you can fill up and get away from the major city once it's been said that ebola in Chicago!
