I think I'm going to pass a kidney stone this weekend. Been a while since I've done that. Makes for some excitement in the worst way.

I would probably stop drinking soda.

Make sure to take pictures and start another stone thread/revive the old. Some of the newer folks may not have seen the old one.

Just prone to having them, body can't tolerate calcium, which is in many foods, over time it builds up and I get a stone. I seem to pass about 1 a year, as my water intake as shot through the roof over the past few years I've not had to go to the hospital for most of them. Used to go once a year, every year, get hooked up to a morphine(?) drip and pass a big stone and/or have lithotripsy. Now I think I wash most of them out before they get big.

I lead a pretty much dairy-free life. Zero milk, almost zero cheese, but I do like butter.

Not really too much of an issue for me. I drink mostly water, less a few diet pepsis per week, and more often than not if I am going to drink a diet pop it is probably going to be a diet citrus soda, which the article says may actually reduce the incident of kidney stones.

well, i ordered a box, 2 actually, guess we'll see what i get. i believe it's gonna be 22lr since winchester doesn't sell 22wmr in 333 count boxes, my order history show's i ordered 22lr and it will be in store pick up no later than thursday. pretty sure the wmr on the second page is just a typo. that being said, if it IS wmr when it show's up.......................who want's to buy it?
