Cliff notes: CC/OC sidearm ok. Long gun: transport unloaded and inaccessible. Loaded at campsite appears to be ok, but if you're walking "in the field" on dnr property you better have a hunting license and you cannot hunt with a rifle in lower Michigan so just don't do it.

Thanks the long gun is really just taking a ride like it did to fl.
Don't plan on taking it out just car to tent and back again.
But like i posted there not sure I'm feeling up to going anyways.
