This is what can happen when I deny a straw purchase, people can make up all sorts of **** about me, and tell others that I said something that I never did. But since I don't really think I was hurt in any way by it, I really don't think I have any legal action against liars. I however will never sell a gun to this Kyle Sebert again, even if he wants to fill out the paper work.

....I'd like to tell you how poorly you handled this situation. Rather than directly confronting this person, you should have contemplated defensively shooting him before actually having a confrontation, and eventually gotten a restraining order rather than ever exchanging more than a word with the guy to get to the root of the problem.
