The upper body of Bruce and his facial expressions are classic.

Recall seeing the movie they made of his life once a while back.
Thanks. I read it as one garage, period. Blah blah. I saw that they amended the law for next year to clarify that it includes detached garages. So, I, and thousands of others will be calling the assessors office tomorrow. I will start a full thread on it tomorrow so more people can see it.from in.gov DLGF: Tax Bill 101 "Homestead property is a principal place of residence consisting of a dwelling, one garage and up to one acre of immediately surrounding real estate. Structures such as decks, patios and gazebos that are attached to the dwelling are considered a part of the homestead. Swimming pools and those structures not attached are not considered a part of the homestead (value is included under "all other property" on your tax bill). The homestead standard deduction must be applied to be considered homestead property."
Looks at first like garage is included, but then later it says structures not attached are not considered part of the homestead. When we had our old house with detached garage, I thought the garage was included but the shed was not.
