    :bash:
Roads were TERRIBLE! Porter County was the worst, sheet of ice covered most of them. There had been no salt trucks out. :xmad:
I agree!! Jedi needs :bash: :bash: :bash:
Roads still are terrible! Slide offs everywhere. Michigan Ave in EC was pure ice and didn't even appear to have been plowed. Now I'm sitting on the 7:45. Don't even get me started about the inconsiderate *******s that are unable to even come CLOSE to a real parking spot in this lot. :xmad: I should have stayed home!

When was the last riot in MC? Or the last attempted over-throw of city hall? WTF do they need this for?

Why do people need fire extinguishers? Just in case... That's why.

    heres your sign:

just popping in for a minute and wondering what other people think about this being so close to home

MC police now have MRAP vehicle - Herald Argus: News

I think it's more about government contracts and greased palms. Who referbishs them? They are surplus that needs upkeep.
I just hope the Leos don't go looking for reasons to use it. It sends the wrong message. We're here to serve ( you a can of whoopass) and to protect ( our can).

Andy while I appreciate the humor of your post, the reality is that our "Men in Blue" have become para-military troops.

I understand the need for some SWAT teams in urban areas, but do we really need armored vehicles in small towns?

Honestly its crap like this that leads to frustration by people about government over-reach. When the police become the military, instead of the community officers we know by name, then we will have moved into a police state.

I think I need a cigar to calm down, too bad I gave them up for Lent!

This is the info I was looking for.

    Thank you.

What would be an expected salary for a new driver willing to stay otr for long periods?

Kinda weighing this against medical device sales rep, which considering I don't like people, sales might not be my forte. Running out of options within my field without further education, so weighing further education against other job markets at the moment.

My brother said a new OTR CDL A driver, driving a company truck can expect to make 24-34 cents a mile, about 30K a year.

Yup, the MRAPs were cheap surplus. But, as has been mentioned, they require maintenance. LOTS of it. And that, will not be cheap.

Snap, glad to hear your mom is ok.
