What else did they expect? If somebody comes to my door I come to the door with a gun too... (I usually have it in my hand that stays behind the door though, while I keep the door open only about a foot or so)

Of course shooting would have been better.

But the lawn looked like crap.
My garage is filled with the storage boxes for the light.
So by taking them down, I get the front yard cleared, and my garage back.

Thats exactly what I did. But I opened the door with my right hand gin in left snf as door was opening I put the gun in the right hand. They mustve seen me because the blinds were left open (wife ) because one of them was like "I told you he would have a gun" and after they checked my I.d. the lady said in a very nasty tone and attitude " do you always answer the door with a gun??" And when I said yes maam she said "ugjh" followed by a lot of muttering under her breathe.

Should have asked them how they would open their door at night to a group of people with guns looking for someone.... scary times we live in!

So which one of you guys has been doing the fishing up here in the harbor? You do know that it is one of the most polluted bodies of water on planet earth probably right? That it hasn't been dredged in like 30-40 years and now that they are dredging they are probably stirring up all sorts of stuff I don't want to know about. Just sayin.... might be some unhealthy fish in the area, again... just sayin

I've never caught anything worthwhile in the Harbor. Haven't fished there in 2-3 years. The few keepers I've caught, I still tossed back knowing the water quality there.

It's your house. Its legal. WTF should they care if you have a gun at the door, under your pillow or if you have them in every room???
