Yes, its very possible you broke a bone in your foot. The fact that you have bruises is a bad sign. Might want to ice it and elevate it.

I think I broke my foot... Is that even possible? I think it was during the rally sat. I thought I was just sore and tired because of my out of shape coupled with lack of sleep, long car drive the marching in cold.

I didn't think much of the curb/hole I stepped on/in and my foot went the wrong way. But it is hurting more and more and more... At the point where I'm hobbling very badly.

The top and bottom of my foot has some swelling and discoloration, not painful until I wiggle my toes, move my foot or walk.

Sounds to me like you either broke your foot, or tore the tendons in your ankle like I did. I would advise you to go and have it looked at ASAP! The longer you wait the longer the recovery is going to take.

Andy, get it looked at right away... you need to know if it's broken as soon as possible or you will just keep breaking things by putting weight on it... If it's a sprang it still won't heal till you ice it and let it rest.... I know this... Good luck...

BTW I think I still have a set of crutches from when I had foot surgery. If you need some let me know.

Will do. It didnt hurt this bad Friday though. It just seems like from the time I woke up till now it's worse and worse. It's just a slight bruise, almost like a tint. The swelling is just slight, it's not crazy.

I never broke anything before on my body either till I broke my foot in 4 places at the same time... It continued to get more and more painful as it went too... Get a X-Ray to see whats going on in there...
